Food Show winner!
Thanks to everyone who entered our Pacific Islands Trade & Invest (PT&I) business card competition. "Business Surfing" on TIDES Conference 

There were a great number of prominent business people riding high on business surfing activity at the recent Tourism Investment for the Development of Enterprise and Sustainability (TIDES) Conference on 17th – 19th February 2010 in Samoa as organized by Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA). 

Pasifika Festival 2009 

PITIC NZ made a successful visit to the Pasifiki Festival in Tonga. The festival was a great opportunity to check out the local crafts and businesses and catch up with our colleagues from PITIC Australia. 

Packaging Insights: Less Is More

Branding, product design and packaging were development areas addressed during several training workshops held at the recent Pasifiki Trade Fair in Tonga. Packaging and labelling has been a topic of interest in the Pacific Islands particularly given the shift of focus from fresh agricultural products to value added goods. 

Pacific Delegates Tour of New Zealand

Following several days of discussions at the 13th Annual FAO Roundtable Meeting in Wellington, a large Pacific delegation primarily comprised of representatives from the government and various regional organizations travelled up to Auckland to undertake field visits to the operations of key New Zealand contacts from the respective sectors of Forestry, Fisheries and Agriculture.
