PITIC NZ
The PITIC NZ Tourism Strategy will focus on sustainable tourism promotion and development for SMMEs based in the FICs. PITIC will identify at least 3 SMMEs in the beginning of the planning period and focus on their sustainable promotion and development in the next three years.

South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO)
Founded in the early 1980s as an informal association of national tourism organisations in the region, The South Pacific Tourism Organisation (SPTO) is now a regional intergovernmental organisation with a permanent Secretariat based in Suva, Fiji. Its fundamental objective is to foster regional co-operation in the development and promotion of tourism in the island nations of the South Pacific.
Its current full government membership comprises of American Samoa, Cook Islands, Fiji, French Polynesia, Kiribati, New Caledonia, Niue, Papua New Guinea, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.
Please note that not all the Pacific Countries represented by the Pacific Islands Trade & Investment Commission are member countries of the SPTO, and vice versa.

Tourism Toolkit for the Pacific
The new South Pacific Tourism Toolkit www.PacificToolkit.org is a new website that has been developed with small to medium tourism enterprises in the Pacific. The website provides online access to a set of training resources that will benefit those starting their tourism business as well as those who seek to develop their businesses further. This was created for SPTO, through NZTRI.
PITIC has funded the promotion of PNG, Tahitian and Micronesian diving through a NZ company called Dive Fish and Snow Travel - check out their dedicated websites for these areas at:
