North Meets South Trade Mission 6-17 August 2007

The North Meets South Trade Mission was a initiative from by PITIC NZ to develop and build a closer relationship between the islands of the Northern Pacific, namely, the Federated States of Micronesia, the Republic of the Marshall Islands and Palau.

The trade mission began in Fiji following the Pacific Islands Business Forum conference held in Nadi on 6-7 August run by the Pacific Islands Private Sector Organisation.  The delegation then launched its trade campaign in New Zealand on 13-17 August.  The results are yet to be fully realised but by all accounts the mission was a great success.
