  • PITIC NZ has produced an "Investment Ready Flyer" that provides an overview of the different kinds of investors; the stages in investing; if you have a desirable business; and points to cover to ensure you are investment ready.   • A World Bank "Doing Business in 2006 East Asia and Pacific Region" review - click here for the reports.

  • The New Zealand Venture Capital Association and Simpson Grierson have put together a Guide: "Guide to Venture Capital Term Sheets". This will provide those who are not familiar with the venture capital investment process with an outline of how investments can be structured, the terms and terminology typically used in a Term Sheet and the broader investment process. The Guide is available in the Resource Centre/Industry Tools section of the NZVCA website.

  • The NZ Ministry of Economic Development commissioned Statistics NZ to conduct a "NZ Business Finance Survey" in 2004. This report's objectives were to: determine the capital structure of NZ firms; identify the sources of finance used by NZ firms; and understand the recent financing experiences of NZ firms.   •  Report on New Zealand's Angel Capital Market (June 2004), produced by Infometrics Ltd for the NZ Ministry of Economic Development.
