CJ Exports of Taking frozen palusami and breadfruit to the community worked well for CJ Exports of Samoa. PITIC NZ assisted the product launch on 17 November 2007 with marketing and advertising and by all accounts the launch was a great success. Demand for frozen palusami increased and CJ Exports of Samoa have been developing their product based on the customer feedback.
Attracting chefs to use taro as the main dish at NZ Culinary Fare, Hospitality Show 2006 was the main aim of PITIC NZ sponsoring a new competition category called Island Influences last year.
